Nina captured a part of what many feel, when related to family. Julie's consumed by her familial responsibility and loses site of who she is, while Damon's lack of good family connections and fake persona, creates a magnetic pull toward... more. All the while, she is trying to learn the truth about her best friend's death. This story is touching, believable, and a great read. Nina's characters are realistic and many readers will be able connect them with people they know.
